The Colorado Hebrew Chorale’s two choirs are thrilled to welcome Ray Merenstein as our emcee for To Laugh! A Comedy Cabaret. Earlier this year, Ray made his musical theatre debut performing the role of Avram in “Fiddler On the Roof” at the Dairy Arts Center in Boulder, CO. When he is not onstage, Ray serves as executive director of NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness) Colorado, leading the organization’s fundraising, communications, and advocacy efforts. Through RDM Communications, a consultancy he started in 2005, Ray has advised a wide range of educational, environmental, health, housing, and human service organizations. He holds a B.A. in American Studies from Tulane University and an M.A. in Mass Communication from the University of Florida. He and wife, Ilana Steinberg, are Colorado natives with one son and two daughters.

We Stand With Israel

The Colorado Hebrew Chorale community has been united in support for Israel during the past two years. As we rejoice in the return of the last 20 living hostages from captivity, our hearts continue to ache alongside those who have not yet received the remains of their loved ones.

The Chorale's two choirs continue to rehearse and perform during this trying time, for it is what we do as musicians: through music we mourn and through music we continue to assert visions of a hopeful and more peaceful world.
